Building The Hennery in 90 degrees of heat with a deadline did get a bit exhausting but, despite Al's attempts to thwart amateur architectural theories with his kind and generous lectures on maths, geometry and physics: my design (and persistence) held up! The Hexagonal Hennery was completed in a day and a half! A triumph! Credit to Chris for his welding prowess (although even he had doubts about the triangular roof sections fitting!) The measurements and calculations actually paid off - phew! Now the 'girls' have daytime quarters which are really predator-proof! PS Egg total so far: 29!
