The gardens of Pear Tree Cottage sit in a cider apple orchard in the green and rolling countryside of Worcestershire, England. It enjoys a sunny south westerly aspect with sweeping views across to Martley Hillside, Woodbury & Abberley clock tower. The Teme Valley lies just over the hill and, not far away, is the Herefordshire border. Although our climate is temperate - PHZ 8, our seasons are often uncertain and always a challenge to a gardener!
It all began in 2010 & follows the weekly ups and downs of garden work chronicling both successes and failures but most of all demonstrates the fun enjoyed by three people who regularly garden in all weathers.

The end of a busy day
After another hard day's graft, it was time to sit down for sundowners and supper all supplied by Al!
As there was a bit of chill in the air we lit the fire for the first time this year (and last!) and all sat back enjoying darkness settling and the owls calling.
